Politics: The Vote Won’t Count Fallacy

I have only two posts to write on the results of the last elections from 2022. I can then to other posts and possibly even start on the primaries of both parties for the presidential race. I will not do other posts on 2024’s elections until after the 2023 ones have happened. I know that I took last month off from this blog even though I had a potential good one for exactly one month ago. Still, I have to come up with a post and with me not having time for much else, I will cover this terrible belief that people have.

You see, there are some people out there who are convinced that people shouldn’t vote because their vote won’t matter anyways. I have no idea where this loony idea comes from. But don’t believe that your vote won’t matter.

What’s behind this belief? Well, it is hard to say for sure. People think that there is no point in voting. But why? Voting is one of the most important parts of being an American adult. To say that your vote doesn’t matter makes me think that you believe too much about not trying to change the way that things work. Do you want a potentially better country? If you don’t want to vote, then you should anyways. Don’t say that your vote doesn’t matter just because others like to devalue the whole thing. Be sure to vote whenever you can, in every election and primary.
